Kayla

Kayla is a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie, graduating from Texas A&M University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health. She continued her education at Lone Star College in Kingwood, where she earned her Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene and went on to practice as a registered dental hygienist for nearly 10 years.

During the pandemic, Kayla stepped into a new role helping run her family’s business. She managed retail operations in a quilt shop, provided long-arm quilting services, and taught sewing and embroidery classes. While she enjoyed the creativity and connection with customers, she ultimately missed applying her science background and experience in dentistry.

Kayla joined the Healthy Smiles team as a Financial Coordinator, where she brings together her clinical knowledge and business experience to help patients navigate their treatment and financial options with confidence.

Outside of the office, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and their two boys, who keep life busy with sports and outdoor activities. She’s a big fan of baseball and football—and will always cheer loudest for the Aggies. Gig ’em!
